Grit Clinics ~ Sugarloaf Outdoor Center

Sugarloaf is psyched to host Grit Clinics for a two-day Mountain Bike Skills Clinic!

Must be 18+ to participate. All skill levels are welcome. Cost is $300 per person which includes a continental breakfast both mornings.

Mornings will consist of perfecting skills and afternoons will be about taking on the trails to shred! For beginners and experts, this trail network is shaping up to be one of New England's premier locations. Carrabassett Valley Trails allows access to the Maine Huts and Trails Network where you can enjoy a relaxing lunch, or just take in the views!

The East Coast Pond Skimming Championship returns to the Loaf!

The first 100 people to sign up (for free!) in the guest services area of the Base Lodge get to skim.

Nighttime Jail Ram at Sugarloaf

 

Suglarloaf has teamed up with the Burton Signature Store and the UMF Freeride Team to offer a Friday Night Jail Ram!

Registration is from 4:00-6:00 pm at the Burton Shop and the Rail Jam begins at 6:00 pm.

$10 cash entry fee and any participant under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

CVA Backcountry Excursion

Join Carrabassett Valley Academy Backcountry Director, Patrick Scanlan, on a half-day excusion in the off-piste terrain at Suglarloaf!

Participants must be able to ski or ride advanced terrain, and have their own or rent alpine touring or split touring gear.

Minimum age is 14, high school grades 9-12. 

Plan to meet at 8:00 am at the Competition Center. Come with a packed lunch and snacks for the day. 

Pick up will be 1:00 pm at the Compeition Center.

2016 Strut for Strays 5K Trail Run & Dog Walk Registration is HERE!

Come join us at Titcomb Mountain for the 3rd annual Strut for Strays 5K Trail Run & Dog Walk on Chester Greenwood Day, Saturday, December 3rd at 8 a.m.! We’ll be run/walking the Nordic Trails of Titcomb Mountain and the Whistlestop Trail. Afterwards, we’d love to have you join us for the parade walk, lining up at 10am at Mallett School.
