Gritty's Triple G3 Ride

The Gritty's Triple G3 is an annual bicycle ride event designated to raise money to support the Dempsey Center for Hope and Healing. Here is the OFFICIAL route map, it is http://ridewithgps.com/routes/3111292. The route is well marked and pretty simple.

This event is for experienced riders.  We ride from Gritty's in Freeport, to Gritty's in Portland, to Gritty's in Auburn, back to Gritty's in Freeport.  The stretch to and from Auburn is hilly.  We ask riders who can average over 15mph over 75 miles to participate.  This is not because slower riders are not welcome, it is because in August, it gets HOT. And we want riders back to Freeport between noon and 2pm so that they can enjoy the festivities and rehydrate.

Registration starts at 6:30am at the Freeport Gritty’s parking lot, but don't park there. Park in the LLBean lot that is adjacent to Grittys
