Dynamic Dirt Challenge - sheJAMs

The Dynamic Dirt Challengeis a hardcore 4+ mile obstacle course designed to challenge your all around strength, stamina, mental grit. By registering in this off-road challenge, you will unlock a true sense of accomplishment, have a great time, and discover camaraderie with your fellow participants.

Enjoy the race with a team of friends who help each other conquer the course together or race as an individual! Wherever you start, don’t forget your costume! Be a super hero as you conquer each obstacle along the course.

Two categories of play: 

COMPETITIVE:  Awards for best time will be given to the fastest Indivual & Team Category  & Individual Veteran and Veteran Team. (Team categories – minimum of 4 on a team)  This is a timed event! CASUAL :   Fun awards given for best costume, largest team, oldest youngest spread on team and more!  Teams can be as large or as small as you like! This is a timed event! 

As challenging as our course is, you will be rewarded at the finish line with ice cold beer and great music! The Dynamic Dirt Challenge is about testing yourself and pushing your limits, then celebrating your accomplishment! 

Be sure to see details about the Dynamic Dirt Family Fest taking place Saturday, June 3rd! Shorter course for individuals, teams and families ages 6+!

The Last Man Standing Ultramarathon is a differnt type of event with a new “race” starting every hour on the hour.There will be no male, female, or age group awards, only the Last Man (athlete) Standing.

Racing starts at 12 noon on Saturday with a shotgun start. Men and women will complete the course at whatever pace they choose, but they MUST complete the loop in less than 60 minutes! Those that complete the course in under an hour will earn the right to continue.

Race organizers will  provide a large tent with Baxter Brewing Seasonal Ale on tap and various bands playing throughout the weekend. There will also be local food trucks on site for your dining pleasure. We strongly encourage you to visit Pineland Farms Market for fantastic locally grown and prepared foods.

Downeast Cyclocross

Cross racing returns to Maine! Pineland Farms in New Gloucester on Saturday and Casco Bay Cyclocross in Portland on Sunday. This year we are back to the top part of the campus by the Market Store. Come experience this legendary New England course for yourself. The folks at Pineland are glad to have the race back and are pulling all the stops to help us make it a memorable day. Check out the new Kids races.   Procceds will go to VAST Veterans Adaptive Sports and Training.

Salomon Trail Running Festival at Pineland Farms

The Salomon Trail Running Festival a tPineland Farms in New Gloucester, Maine, is a two-day extravaganza of trail races, beer drinking, barbeque, potluck salads and desserts, old timey music, and fun family events. Held annually on Memorial Day weekend the current event includes seven races with distances from 5k to 50 miles that will draw over 2,200 registered participants and about 1,500 spectators from across the US and Canada.Founded in 2006 by race directors Erik Boucher and Ian Parlin the event has undergone a number of transformations prior to its current configuration. From 2006 to 2007 the event included a 25k and 50k race held on Sunday and was called the Pineland Farms Trail Challenge. Then in 2008 a 4k canicross and a 50 mile race was added. In 2010 a second day of races was added and the event was renamed the Pineland Farms Trail Running Festival. Starting that year the 5k (with shoes), Barefoot 5k, 5k Canicross (with dogs), and 10k race was held on Saturday, and the 25k, 50k, and 50 miles races were held on Sunday. In 2013 the event was renamed the Pineland Trail Running Festival. In 2014 the event was renamed the Salomon Trail Running Festival at Pineland Farms.

Fight Back Festival

Fight Back Festival is a biking, running and walking fundraising event benefiting the Cancer Community Center. Participants of all levels and ability are invited to join us as we bike, run and walk at Pineland Farms this family-friendly day of encouragement and support. Participants will enjoy activities, demonstrations, balloons, face painting, live music and great food!

All proceeds from Fight Back Festival benefit the Cancer Community Center.
