Spring Festival at Sunday River

Spring Festival at Sunday River

April 6 - April 8, 2018

Bringing the beach to the slopes.

April 6, 2018 - April 8, 2018

Spring Festival is a celebration of the return of spring, complete with huge parties, music, and great spring skiing and riding. New this year is the addition of the Maine Brew Fest on Friday!

Friday, April 6

Maine Brew Festival, South Ridge Lodge, 7-11 PM

We take beer seriously here in Maine, and this year we've invited the top craft breweries from across the state to join us in the mountains. The Spring Session of the Maine Brew Fest will bring over 25 breweries from across the state to South Ridge Lodge on Friday night for an evening of beer tasting with food, friends, and even fireworks. Tickets are on sale now;  $49 through April 5, then $55 at the event. $15 designated driver tickets are available if you want to join the party but not sample beer.

Saturday, April 7

Spring Fest Day 1, White Cap Base Area

One of the biggest spring parties in Northeast snow country, complete with a huge, all-afternoon outdoor concert plus beer from some of Maine's most popular breweries, cocktail bars featuring Maine distilleries such as Ice Pik, Cold River and Sebago. Plus will be serving Spring Fest's famous Pain Killers, and BBQs and food stations featuring Maine favorites like hot and cold lobster rolls, lobster bites, pork lollipops grilled in Maine blueberry BBQ sauce, New England clam chowder, red hot dogs, and more.  Spring Fest Saturday is not to be missed.

5th Annual Slip 'n' Flip, 1PM

16 teams of five members each slide their way to victory on slopes just above White Cap Lodge. In relay fashion, one competitor from each team races down the slip and slide course on a tube, until they reach the table at the bottom to down a cup of alcohol-free Spring Fest punch and then flip the empty cup upright. Once a cup has been successfully flipped, the next competitor can leave the start at the top of the course until all five teammates finish. Teams will compete until there is one last team standing as grand champion.

Registration forms for 2018.

Sunday, April 8

Spring Fest Day 2, White Cap Base Area
