George Kohl was a dedicated and inspiring social studies teacher at Messalonskee High School.  Through his scholarship trust fund, his legacy and influence live on by helping graduates of MHS further their education in various fields.

A new category has been added after feedback from the field of runners from the previous years.  This category is for "Additional Family Members".  For each adult who enters the race at the adult rate, they may enter up to two additional family members at the discounted rate.  We are counting on all to use the honor system so that we may encourage more families to participate in this event.  Also, we are adding a kid friendly "Fun Run" for any child who is under the age of 10.

The cost of this is FREE! After the Fun Run. For more information, feel free to contact the Race Director, Kirby Reardon, at 207-446-8272, or email kreardon@svrsu.org
