Yoga in the Outfield - Sea Dogs

The Portland Sea Dogs are happy to be partnering with Maine Yoga Fest to present our second annual Yoga in the Outfield event on Sunday, June 24th at Hadlock Field when the Sea Dogs take on the Trenton Thunder.

Take part in a pre-game yoga class in the outfield at Hadlock Field. After yoga enjoy watching the Sea Dogs play ball.

Bring your own mats and roll them out on the gorgeous green outfield of Hadlock Field for a unique yoga experience exciting and accessible to all levels of yoga mastery!

Gates will open at 10:00 AM on the morning of the 24th, for everyone participating in the yoga class. The class will be taught by Crisp Studio and Maine Yoga Fest instructor Debbie Duryee. The class is designed to be accessible to yogis of all levels, approximate ages of 10-100.

Tickets to the event cost $15.00 and include your spot in the pre-game yoga class in the outfield as well as a General Admission ticket to that afternoon's Sea Dogs' 1:00 PM game. The class will run from 10:15-11:15. Please note that this is a BYOM event-please bring your own mat!

Tickets can be purchased by calling the Sea Dogs Ticket Office at 207-879-9500 or online at www.seadogs.com.

Additionally, we will be holding a toy drive for the Maine Children's Cancer Program "Owie Box" (a supply of small toys from which children undergoing cancer treatment can choose after their visits) at the park on the 24th. When purchasing tickets for this event, you'll also have an option to make a donation to the Maine Children's Cancer Program, if you choose.

Maine YogaFest 2018

East End Community School
195 North Street, Portland
The Maine YogaFest (MYF) is a wellness event was created by three friends in 2012 to bring together Maine and other New England communities to celebrate the healing powers of yoga and encourage a healthy, peaceful and compassionate way of living. The MYF is a premiere forum that provides a sense of community among yoga teachers, studios and practitioners. By raising awareness of the physical, mental and spiritual benefits of yoga, we hope to strengthen the yoga movement and culture in our beautiful State. The festival offers a diverse program allowing participants to try a wide range of yoga styles and techniques by a variety of teachers. We support the growth of the Maine economy by featuring local music, food and vendors throughout the weekend. In 2017 MYF partnered with an all-women's training group sheJAMs also founded by three friends to spread the word even further.
Ticket prices start at $89 for a 3-workshop pass and $125 for a 5-workshop pass when registration opens and increase as the festival approaches.  Ticket price includes: three or five workshops, two Lunch & Learn Preentations open to all ticket holders, and a silent sit / meditation end of Saturday. $5 charitable donation to Sea Change Yoga and admittance to Vendor Village.  Ticket prices do NOT include service and processing fees charged by our online registration service provider, EventBrite. Fees are 2% + $0.99/per registrant + a credit card processing fee of 3% . Transportation, meals, and lodging are not included in ticket price.
See information below and on our website, including how to volunteer! Please join us for this growing, special community event.
Are meals included in the price of the festival?

How and when do I pick up my festival pass (wristband)?
After you have purchased your workshop pass online, a ticket will be delivered electronically to you.  You will receive your wristband to the festival at the MYF registration table or at the gate entrance on North Street.  The Registration Table is located in the first floor lobby of the school as you come through the North Street entrance.  Registration is open on Friday from 5:00-7:30 PM , Saturday from 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM and Sunday 7:30 AM – 1:30 PM.  You must have a photo ID and a copy of your EventBrite ticket (mobile phone is preferred for green purposes but a printed copy is accepted) to check in.  Festival wristbands will be presented to you upon check-in and will be your only admission to workshops.  You are required to sign-in with a festival volunteer as you enter each workshop as well.
