Bring all your friends, Faculty, Alumni, Staff and get down and dirty with us!

This year our Lap racers will leave at 8:00 AM and complete as many laps of our course as they can. The last lap cutoff will be 12:00 PM. Are you up for the challenge??

Much like last year, our single lap heats will begin with Elite heat at 8:45 AM for our more competitive racers. All other participants will leave in heats of 40 or less every 10 minutes beginning at 9:00 AM. You do not need to participate in the Elite heat to be eligible for awards.

Quarry Road Trails - Weekly Youth Bike Rides

 

Youth Mountain Bike Ride - Weekly on Wednesday evenings through June 13, 6:00pm - 7:30pm

Beginning June 21 rides will be offered on Thursdays 

Calling All Youth Mountain Bikers... Come Catch a Smile with the Central Maine Cycling Club Junior Dirt Riders every week this summer. We will be hosting our weekly Youth Mountain Bike Ride at Quarry Trails in Waterville. Rides will last from 6 to 7:30 pm.

The rides are open to all riders from High School age and younger who have the ability to ride on their own without training wheels. We encourage any and all parents to join in as well. So come out and discover what it's like to "Catch a Smile"

For 2018 we will be holding the rides on Wednesdays from May 9 until June 13. Beginning June 21 the rides will be on Thursdays for the remainder of the summer.

We can’t wait to share in all the great moments of positive peer-to-peer interaction again this year!

If for some reason trail conditions do not allow for riding we will post that on the Junior Dirt Riders Facebook group.

This 5K features 12-15 obstacles (like mud, cargo nets, mud, tire pulls) and multiple mud pits. Also: wall climbs, bucket carries, and hills. Costumes encouraged. It’s a family friendly day, and there will be a mini obstacle course open to children up to age 10. New this year: the open to compete in the lap race, which runs from 8:45 a.m. to noon. How many laps can you squeeze in?

Quarry Road Summer Race Series

The Quarry Road Summer Race Series is a weekly trail running series held at the Quarry Road Recreation Area in Waterville, Maine. Our goal is to create a fun, family friendly series that will provide a summer of great experiences for runners in the Greater Waterville Area.  

Each week participants will complete different courses of varying lengths from 3K to 8K, utilizing the full extent of the Quarry Road Trail System. Join us for a single race or participate all summer long to compete for the overall series title.

Along with our featured race, each week there is also a FREE Kid’s Fun Run for children 12 & under.

Proceeds from the Quarry Road Summer Race Series will go to support the Boys & Girls Clubs and YMCA of Greater Waterville.

OUR GOALS:

L.N. Clark Inspiration Network:  Our Goal is to help Maine cancer patients and their families. So many people need support and services in many areas during their medical oncology journey.  Our passion is to lighten the burden and stress for the individuals in a meaningful way. A cancer patient's journey is a massive challenge; trying to get help should not be.

New this year: Racers have the ability to choose their preferred heat! Heats are limited to 30 people so register early to reserve the time that works best for you or your team!

8th Annual Freaky 5K Hardy Girls, Healthy Women Event

 

8th Annual Freaky 5k Run/Walk: Saturday, October 29 @ Colby 

The Freaky 5k is a reminder that Halloween should be about imaginative and creative costumes, not the frighteningly sexualized ones peddled to even the youngest girls. We invite you to join us for a costumes appreciated trot through town in support of Hardy Girls Healthy Women.  Grab a bed sheet or a boa (and maybe a friend) and we will see you there!

Prices include a rad green ruckus yowie, pre-race festivities, and a timed result and are as follows: Youth & Students- $15 Adults- $25 and discounts for teams.  Register early! Day of registration is $35 for adults and $25 for youth & students.

 

Teams are three or more runners who commit to at least starting the race together. They qualify for the Team Costume Prize and each team member gets a discount on registration.  Adults on teams pay $20 and students on teams pay $10.  Before you register as a team, agree on a team name so you all put the same thing on your registration form.
