Runners can pre-register for all Downeast Conservation Trail Race Series races at or by contacting hosting organizations. Prizes will be awarded based on age-based placement, participation, and volunteer work. Online pre-registration for each race ends one week before scheduled race day. On race day, in-person registration ends 30 minutes before the start of each race.

To celebrate the end of the race series, the groups are hosting a Conservation Trail Race Celebration on Saturday, November 17 at 4:30PM at Flexit Cafe in Ellsworth. A public awards ceremony will be accompanied by food and drink. The public is invited to see photographs of the races, hear stories from our speakers, thank the volunteers who made the race series possible, and learn how local conservation organizations support our communities.

Hosting nonprofit organizations are based in Downeast Maine, each ensuring that natural landscapes stay open to the public, not only for running, but also for hiking, biking, paddling, fishing, hunting, horseback riding, watching wildlife, and more.
