2018 Walk to Help ME. Recover. - Maine Substance Abuse Foundation

On Sunday June 24th, 2018, the Maine Substance Abuse Foundation will bring together people in recovery, community members, health care professionals, family and friends to celebrate the positive role of recovery of Substance Use Disorder.  The gathering will be in Payson Park, Portland, to share stories, build community, enjoy light refreshments and more.

Together as a community we will walk a 3.5 mile loop around Baxter Blvd.  All funds raised will benefit the Portland Recovery Community Center and Help ME. Recover.

Besides raising money for much needed treatment support organizers will give positive visability to the fact that individuals, families, communities can and do recover from the destructive disease of Substance Use Disorder.
