Ferry Beach Fog Dog Paddle & Power Cruise
Friday, June 22, 2018

Ferry Beach Park Association is inviting you to join us in launching the inaugural “Paddle Power Race & Cruise” on Saturday, July 28, 2018.

The Paddle Power event is a fundraiser for Ferry Beach Park Association as part of its ongoing efforts of preservation of the beaches on Saco Bay and the maintenance of shoreline access. Ferry Beach Park Association is located at the southern end of Saco Bay, adjacent to Camp Ellis.  With the severe erosion problems facing the shoreline, the organization has worked tirelessly to try to help preserve it by building and maintaining a dune ecosystem and by fostering action from the City, State and Federal Government.  In addition, shoreline preservation efforts, Ferry Beach is currently fundraising to build the first ADA compliant boardwalk on Saco Bay this year.

We would like to invite you to participate with financial and marketing support for this volunteer run and non-profit sponsored event.  Your support would provide race organization materials, advertisement, race buoys, safety equipment, prizes and an awards ceremony following the race. Our budget for the Paddle Power Race is $5,000.

If you are interested in being identified as a primary funder for this event, we have several sponsorship levels and opportunities available. As part of your sponsorship, your company will appear in all marketing and promotional materials, on the race website, have space to display your business in the staging area and be invited to the post-race event and award ceremony.  For more details on these opportunities, as well as vendor opportunities, please see the included sponsorship opportunities sheet.

We are looking forward to this new event on Maine’s largest sandy beach in July and are looking forward to working with you. For more information, contact Marty Burgess at martyfb7@gmail.com or 207-283-8574.

Thank you,

Marty Burgess
