Pilgrim Dash 5K Road Race/Walk - November 20, 2016


This is a fun event for the whole family! Run, Jog or Walk to the Finish Line! 
First 100 registered will receive a free t-shirt.

4 years old and under are FREE

Online Registration closes on Thursday, Nov 17. Walk-in registrations will be accepted Friday, Nov 18 from 8am-4pm & race day from 7:30-8:45am. Registration/Check In opens on site at the Rec Park on Rte 9A at 7:30AM 
Race Starts at 9:00AM

A Turkey will be awarded to the First overall Men's and Women's finishers! Other prizes will be awarded as well!

The Sophomore Class of Brewer High School 35th Annual Turkey Trot 3 Mile Road Race and Kids’ One Mile Fun Run

Sunday, November 20th, 2016 at 1:00 pm.

Kids’ race starts at 12:30 pm.


* Registration at the Brewer High School Cafeteria at 11:00 am

* Pre-registration is encouraged. Registrations post-marked by November 1st will receive a free t-shirt (short sleeved for kids’ race, long sleeved for 3 mile race)



3 mile course starts on Dirigo Drive, turns near the Ciancette Building and finishes back towards Brewer High School.


$15.00 for 3-mile.   $10.00 for Kids’ mile.

You're invited to the Annual 5k Turkey Trot/ 1 Mile Dog Jog and again this year a 10K (two laps on the 5K route - special bibs for 10K runners)! Saturday, November 19, 2016. 9am. Race starts from the Sanford Jr High located at 708 Main St. Hosted by the Sanford Parks and Recreation Department and by York Federal Credit Union, you have a chance to win gift cards to Hannaford's Supermarkets.
Register at the Jr High if registering after 11/17/16.  
Staff will be at the race site on race day at 8am on Saturday, November 19, 2016.

All proceeds will benefit the new FITNESS ZONE to be built near the Mousam Trails.

This race around Westbrook started as a family affair, but it’s grown over the last 6 years and all are welcome to walk, run or even volunteer. Proceeds go to a scholarship fund for graduating students at Westbrook High School and students at Westbrook Regional Vocational Center who are going on to secondary education.

Get there early (at 8 a.m.) for a warm up COMBO CLASS in the YMCA gym. Because you’re going to need that calorie deficit that day!

Thanksgiving Day 5K Turkey Trot - Greely Hockey 

Cumberland. $25 day of, $12-$17 in advance.

The Thanksgiving Day 5K Turkey Trot has been hosted by Greely Hockey since 2008 and has become an annual tradition. It is held early Thanksgiving morning, so people can run or walk with the community then head home in time to prepare their Thanksgiving meal or travel to visit family. It starts and ends at the Greely High School and is a fun event for all. Prizes of pies are awarded to the first male and female finishers in each age category, as well as to the male and female overall race winners.

Portland Thanksgiving Day 4-Miler

9 a.m. Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 24. Starts on Congress Street, Portland. $20.

We all have our Thanksgiving traditions (dinner at aunt Betsy’s, binge-eating mashed potatoes and helping dad untangle the Christmas lights, for example). The Thanksgiving Day 4-Miler through downtown Portland is another of those traditions.

Bring non-perishable food to benefit Project FEED.

Frenchman's Bay Conservancy - Autumn Trail Race

Sumner High School, Sullivan - November 6, 2016

Join the Great Pond Mountain Conservation Trust  and Frenchman Bay Conservancy in the 4th annual Downeast Double Trouble Trail Race Series.

The GPMCT Wild Lands Trail Race is a 6 mile circuit. It is run on dirt roads with some single track. It will take place October 30th at the Great Pond Mountain Wildlands. 

The FBC Autumn Trail Race is a 4 mile race that starts and finishes at Sumner Memorial High School and takes place on FBC's Long Ledges & Baker Hill Preserves. New this year, check out FBC's extended race, approximately 8 miles traversing the new Schoodic Connector Trail 
and paved and dirt roads.

Start Times:
4 mile trail race: begins at 11:00 am
8 mile trail race: begins at 10:45 am
Day of registration: 9:00 am at Sumner Memorial High School
